Welcome all valid Integral Knowledge that builds upon respect and careful thinking processes! These processes are coherent and consistent with individual and collective observation. They are both rational and empirical, logical and phenomenological.
I aim to provide a forum to inform on ideas that may bridge the gap between science and spirituality, philosophical metaphysics and experiential paths of discovery.
Here you'll find articles on comparative philosophy, mysteries of the Cosmos, the mind-matter problem, Integral Theory, "inter dimensional" physics and ways to integrate these and other relevant themes in orthodox and non orthodox ways.
In the spirit of Archie J. Bahm's "Organicism" and Ken Wilber's "Integral Theory," I find validity in a variety of philosophical positions that derive from the idealist, materialist, emergentist, dualist, pansychic, shamanic, rational, empirical and non dual sensibilities. I also want to build on the ideas of "holons" and "complementary opposites."
I aim to overcome self-imposed conceptual preferences or exclusivisms that allow to explore certain paths knowledge while blocking others and not allowing to develop more useful models. I do this also because I believe that today's complex, social human interconnected world requires an inclusive philosophy of such broad range that all valid knowledge and constructive ways of being are embraced.
I think that peaceful coexistence in the world now requires this more inclusive understanding and the ethical values inspired by it along with a heart felt appreciation of the positive contributions generated by peoples in all stages of cultural and social development.
I posit that we need to discover our unique position in a multi realmed Cosmos and to extend our scientific knowledge so as to include the nature of how the Gross Physical realm may interact with the other realms. I think that the findings of Quantum Theory are important alongside the more verified and coherent esoteric traditions.
I think that we must find if coherent, personal awareness persists after bodily death and if there are useful Integral ways to validly integrate meaningful, qualitative experiences with objective representations of things.
I think that we must learn to appreciate Nature in a more intimate and experiential way in order to respect her and to enhance our human lives and the lives of all sentient beings on Earth. I also think that we must re acquaint ourselves with the Sacred Source of all that is, a guiding Source that transcends and includes all sentient beings and phenomena.
Lets develop together a form of "Science" that includes body, mind and spirit.

- Trying to tackle some of the most difficult questions on the nature of reality, consciousness, extraterrestrials, and multidimensionality.
Educational efforts that foster integration and respect between cultures could benefit from professor Archie J. Bahm's ORGANICISM for the simple reason that eight important metaphysical positions that humanity has generated become equally important in a logical manner rather than mutually exclusive.
ReplyDeleteMoreover, Bahm's rigurous demonstration using a very comprehensive "BOTH-AND" logic (instead of the strict, exclusing, binary "either-or" logic) simply expands rigour to greater dialectical heights. One of his diagrams shows Vedantism, Neutral Monism, Creationism and Dualism as a continuum in on axis. Then it shows Spiritualism-Idealism, Emanationsim, Emergentism and Materialism in the other perpendicular axis. Organicism is the philosophical position at the center, a position accepting the POSITS of all the previous explanations about REALITY as true but rejecting each others exclusivist negations of each other's posits. From a rigurous logical perspective it is shown that all the seemingly incompatible positions are mutually necessary and even interpenetrating.
This crucial finding could assist in some education efforts with individuals that sincerely think that the world's religions and major philosophies are logically incompatible. It shows that by considering existential opposites under as complementary (like the opposites of matter and spirit used for the previous example)we can encourage a more participatory relation with the mutually compatible ways in which the world presents itself to us or, alternative, how we disclose the world.
